Sex in the water: pro and against
The romantic picture of the sexual process in the water environment actually turns out to be a promotional gimmick of film directors: the coitus in the water is not only uncomfortable, but is dangerous for a woman’s health. More often urologists make a protest.
The main argument against it is a high probability of developing cystitis in a woman’s organism. The danger is connected not only with the cold water itself, but also the microbes of the colon bacillus, which live in the natural water bodies. The water washes away the natural lubrication of the vagina, and that heightens the probability of micro injuries and infecting of the injured mucous tunics. Special gels for eliminating the dryness of the vagina are water-soluble, so it is impossible to use them.
Doctors appeal to the common sense: sex in the water doesn’t defend from the infections which are passed sexually and can’t prevent pregnancy. The water environment impedes the usage of condoms: it can slide off in the most inappropriate moment. For sexual foreplay it is better to use a bath or Jacuzzi with foam and aromatic stimulators. But the coitus itself is more comfortable for performance “on land”.
